Day 03: Guptkashi - Kedarnath Drive: 30 Kms / 5 Hrs, Trek: 18 Kms
Early morning drive to Sonprayag. On arrival, take a local jeep to Gaurikund (2 km) and start your trek to Kedarnath. On arrival, check in to the guest house. After freshening up, visit Kedarnath Temple to witness the evening Aarti. Dinner and overnight stay at the guest house.
Kedarnath: The temple of Baba Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and is among the most sacred shrines of Lord Shiva. Located amid snow-covered mountains near the Mandakini River, the temple is known for its ancient spiritual significance and remarkable resilience. Even after the devastating floods of 2013, the temple remained a powerful symbol of faith. Inside the temple, devotees can see beautiful ancient idols of gods and goddesses.
Day 04: Kedarnath - Guptkashi Trek: 18 Kms, Drive: 35 Kms / 2 Hrs
Early morning, you can visit Kedarnath Temple for the morning Aarti. After Aarti, return to the guest house for breakfast. Later, check out and start the downhill trek to Gaurikund. From the road head, drive to Guptkashi. On arrival, check in to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 05: Guptkashi - Rishikesh Drive: 185 Kms / 7 Hrs
After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh via Devprayag. At Devprayag, stop to see the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, where the holy Ganga begins. Later, continue your journey to Rishikesh. Arrive in the evening and check in to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Devprayag: Devprayag is a famous pilgrimage center located at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers. After this sacred meeting point, the river is known as the Ganga. According to Hindu tradition, Lord Rama, along with Sita Ji and Lakshman Ji, came to Devprayag for penance after the events of the Ramayana. The town is therefore considered an important spiritual place for devotees.
Day 06: Rishikesh - Delhi Drive: 232 Kms / 6 Hrs
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi in the evening. On arrival, you will be transferred to the airport/railway station.
